When I see birches bend to left and right
Across the lines of straighter darker trees,
I like to think some boy’s been swinging them.
But swinging doesn’t bend them down to stay
As ice-storms do.

Nice ones ;)

This is my most recently purchased pipe.  A Briar Cutty.  I purchased this after watching the History Channels, Hatfield & McCoy’s.

It is only 2.5” long and fits perfectly in my pocket when I am out and about.  This is a great pipe for hanging out at a bar.

Who are you and where are you from?

"My name is Ian Norris, I am originally from England and moved to Oklahoma four years ago to be with my bride.”

What inspired a pipe smoking lifestyle?

"When I first moved to the United States I spent two years working seasonally on a Ranch as a Hand.  The Ranch manager introduced me to smoking a pipe and from that day on, I was hooked."

What are some of your favourite blends?

"My favourite blends are Cavendish blends.  It really does not matter what the mix is, as long as it is primarily Cavendish.  I am not a fan of Virginia blends as the flavour reminds me too much of cigarettes."

Can you share any tips for beginners?

"Make a point of learning how to correctly pack your bowl with tobacco.  Do it right and you should only have to light it once.  As a beginner pipe smoker I was constantly relighting my bowl which became frustrating."

Tell us about your favourite tobacco stores, whether online or an actual store?

"I currently get all of my tobacco from a local store here in Edmond called, The Tobacco Exchange.  I have not really explored the online option apart from once, when I ordered some gimmick Lord of the Rings tobaccos and that was a huge failure.  So for now, I stay local."
